The Full-Disclosure Gospel

Sometimes in our eagerness to win someone to Jesus we are hesitant to explain the full Gospel. The Gospel is a calling to a life that can, at times, seem unfair and lacking in meaning. We like to believe that if we pray enough, if we read and study the Bible, go to church, attend a small group, post evangelistic messages on Facebook, witness to our friends and the people we work with, do door-to-door evangelism, ( I could go on and on) in an effort to save ourselves from grief and sorrow. That is not the Gospel message. The fact is this: The Gospel saves us from the penalty of sin, not pain or suffering.
